Vintage Art Deco Bookends Bird Figural Spelter Upswept Tail Black Stone Base

A striking pair of Art Deco figural bookends featuring stylized birds with dramatically upswept tails, each mounted on a heavy geometric octagonal stone base. The birds are cast (non-ferrous metal) with a patina finish. The contrast between the sleek black stone bases and the richly detailed bird figures is pure 1920s–30s decorative design. Heavy enough to hold a serious shelf in place.
