Shipping

Where does James and Jess' House of Goods ship to?
We ship to all 50 States and to most countries around the world! If you would like to make an international purchase, please contact us directly through the chat button on our page, email info@jamesandjesshouseofgoods.com, or by phone during regular business hours at 240-543-8259.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days and transit delivery times vary by your location and shipping method selection. Orders are shipped in the order they are received throughout the work week.

Buyer Shipping & Receiving Responsibility
Once your order has left our shop and is scanned by the shipping service, James and Jess' House of Goods is no longer responsible for lost, stolen, misdelivered, or damaged packages. Though, we will do our best to assist you if a claim needs to be filed for missing or damage that has occurred during shipping. It is Buyer's responsibility to provide correct shipping address when making a purchase. We will not ship to an alternate address after your order has been placed. 

Import Taxes & VAT for International
James and Jess' House of Goods is not responsible for incurred VAT or Import Taxes for overseas deliveries. If a parcel shipped to you is returned due to non payment of Import Tax and VAT, we can either ship the parcel back to you (additional shipping fees will apply) or payment will be given back as Store Credit minus the shipping fees.

How do I track my order?
Orders are shipped through the UPS, USPS, or FedEx and tracking information is provided when your order has been fulfilled. You can track your package by going to the shipping service website and entering the tracking number provided.

In-Store Pick-Up

When can I pick-up in store?
James and Jess' House of Goods brick-and-mortar shop is open Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturday 10-5pm.

How long will you hold my paid for merchandise?
Merchandise must be picked up by the close of the business week, Saturday at 5pm, unless prior arrangements have been made. For large orders (such as furniture) is not picked up by the close of the business week or agreed upon arrangement, a storage fee of $2.00 per day will be assessed.  

*Please note, customers are to bring help to move and load furniture upon pick up.*

All sales are final and merchandise sold as-is.

Please note about vintage items. Unless marked new or new old stock, they are sold in used, as-is, pre-owned condition. Because of the age of these items they may have some wear, imperfections and signs of use, age and time.

We do our best to describe the items in our shop accurately. If you have questions about an item or would like more pictures please contact us before purchasing. Thanks so much!
