This is Rookwood's model #6170, a stylized goat figurine on a rectangular plinth, produced in 1945 and attributed to sculptor Louise Abel. The matte blue glaze is smooth and even, that classic soft Rookwood blue that photographs well and displays even better. Abel's artist mark is present on the base alongside the full Rookwood impressed marks.
