Rookwood Pottery 1934 Shirayamadani Parrot Ashtray Box with Lid Ivory Shape 6322

A genuinely rare one. Rookwood ashtray boxes designed by Kataro Shirayamadani turn up rarely, and this one has the parrot finial intact on the lid, perched and looking forward. All ivory matte glaze, no color variation, clean lines on the base with a cigarette rest built into the interior.
