Rookwood 1937 Scottie Dog Bookend Paperweight #6449 Ivory Matte XXXVII Single

Rookwood's Scottie dog bookend is one of the cleaner animal forms they produced in the late 1930s — simplified, sculptural, very much of its Art Deco moment. The ivory matte glaze on this example is even and unmarked, which is not always the case on pieces that spent decades holding up books. Listed as a single bookend; price reflects that.
