Pottery Craft USA Robert Maxwell Designed Bud Vase Glazed Marked PC USA

A classic Pottery Craft USA bud vase in the Robert Maxwell style: a ribbed, melon-shaped lower body separated by a carved horizontal groove from a smooth, tapered neck with a slightly flared rim. The glaze is where it gets interesting — slate blue-gray dominates the body with heavy speckling and drips, transitioning to warm amber and dark brown at the neck and into the rib grooves, creating real depth and movement. The unglazed terra cotta base shows the "PC USA" impressed mark and the rich red-brown clay characteristic of California studio pottery. Clean, well-executed, and very much a product of the mid-century California craft scene.
